Emergency Services flooded the city's Queensgate Centre at about 1.55pm on Thursday, reports.

A police spokesman said: "There were reports of violence at Queensgate.

“There was a male victim. The call was made by a witness, not by the victim. Both the victim and the offender have left the scene.”

An East of England Ambulance service spokesman said paramedics had attended, but not treated anyone.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
