Man stabbed in the leg close to McDonald’s in busy city centre vanishes before cops arrive

Witness called emergency services but both victim and attacker left before cops arrived

A MAN has reportedly been stabbed in the leg close to a McDonald's in Peterborough City Centre.

A witness to the attack alerted cops, but by the time they arrived both the victim and attacker had left the scene.

Emergency Services flooded the city's Queensgate Centre at about 1.55pm on Thursday, reports.

A police spokesman said: "There were reports of violence at Queensgate.

“There was a male victim. The call was made by a witness, not by the victim. Both the victim and the offender have left the scene.”

An East of England Ambulance service spokesman said paramedics had attended, but not treated anyone.
