Appeal for male strippers in Devon amid claims county is suffering from chronic shortage
Muscled hunks from the county are desperately needed for nude life-drawing classes and naked butler roles
HUNKY men in Devon are the subject of an appeal amid claims the county is suffering from a chronic shortage of male STRIPPERS.
Hen parties are reportedly missing out on naked butlers - and artists are also struggling to find nude men for life-drawing classes.
And now an agency has put out a desperate appeal to find willing, ripped males with the right personality to plug the gap in Devon and neighbouring Cornwall.
Former actor and performer, Tristan Mills, who runs Adonis Cabaret. said: "I would like to see some Devon men, they must be out there, but there seems to be a shortage.
"We have a lot of demand for shows in Plymouth, Exeter, and Newquay, but it costs too much to bring in the men from farther away.
"We can offer training in being a male stripper for the right candidates.
"They need to be at least 5ft 8in tall, and someone who looks after themselves.
"They don't need to have really ripped abs - but it helps.
"They also need to have the type of personality that gets on with people, and are comfortable chatting to the women."
He went on: "Our performances are not sleazy or low end, they are something you could take your mother-in-law to - cheeky fun for ladies, and indeed men.
