Ukrainian soldiers also managed to capture one of Putin's shiny new tanks during the assault

THIS is the dramatic moment a column of Russian tanks and 50 soldiers are wiped out by Ukraine in Vladimir Putin's latest battlefield blow.

In a joint effort with soldiers of a Ukrainian Air Assault Brigade, they managed to quickly and efficiently dispose of the opposition onslaught.

Video shows the point of view of kamikaze drones as they smash into Russian tanks, before wider shots from afar reveal the devastation that follows.

Russian troops can then be seen scrambling for their lives as they aim to retreat to safety.

Quite literally sitting ducks, Putin's men had embarked on an apparent suicide mission.

Following the dramatic footage of the tanks being blown up one by one, Ukrainian soldiers then appeared to capture a new T-72B3M tank from the opposition.

Images showed one of the shiny new vehicles in their possession, further rubbing salt into the wounds for Putin.

The footage was posted on Telegram on Saturday evening by Ukraine’s Azov Brigade.

They claimed the Russian column had been advancing near the village of Terny in the Donetsk region before they destroyed it.

In total, 11 pieces of equipment were lost by Russia's forces.

A caption alongside the video read: “Reconnaissance noticed an armoured group of Russians. It was moving towards the positions of the Defence Forces in the Kreminna direction.";

The soldiers from the 12th Azov Brigade and the 95th DShV Brigade said that they carried out the assault.

"In total, more than 50 invaders were destroyed during the assault," they add.

Those who managed to survive the assault fled, abandoning their equipment.

As for the captured T-72B3M Russian tank, the Ukrainian forces said they added it to the rear of their own forces.

The attack comes just days after Putin was humiliated once more when Ukraine destroyed one of Russia's biggest mechanised charges since the start of the war.

A total of 12 tanks were obliterated this time around, with dramatic footage capturing a column of 48 Russian tanks and fighting vehicles being targeted by a barrage of drones, missiles and artillery.

The attack took place last Saturday (March 30) in eastern Ukraine, where Moscow's 36 tanks and 12 armoured vehicles were no match for Ukraine's defending forces led by the 25th Airborne Brigade.

Dramatic footage also captured the moment Ukraine's tiny Robot Wars-style suicide drone blew up a bridge to prevent Russian troops advancing earlier this week.

The kamikaze land drone, dubbed the "Honey Badger", wheeled its way into a small hole before exploding and tearing the bridge apart in a spectacular feat of new technology.

Elsewhere, harrowing reports claim Putin's forces have been unleashing horrific chemical attacks on Ukrainian soldiers.

Russian troops are allegedly sending drones along the frontlines daily to drop banned packages full of tear gas and other dangerous chemicals on unsuspecting troops.
