A SKIING fan got hitched at the top of a mountain — then glided down with her groom.
Laura Norcott, 31, started planning their peak nuptials when Robert proposed on the slopes a year ago.
She said: "I've skied since I was really young.
"Me and my husband met just over six years ago and I dragged him on a skiing holiday three months later.
"This was the first time he had ever skied.
"He loves the outdoors though and he's fearless so he picked it up straight away.

"The proposal was a total surprise."
They and 32 guests headed to the Otztal Alps in Austria last month for the stag and hen do’s.
The entire party then travelled to the top of a 8,500ft mountain at Hohe Mut Alm for the vows.
Afterwards the newlyweds raced down with a dozen guests, and Laura’s snow-white dress escaped unscathed.

The equine physiotherapist, of Mere, Cheshire, said: “It was pretty special.
"It was great fun skiing down.
"I just forgot what I was wearing and just enjoyed the moment.
Farmer Robert, 34, taught to ski by Laura when they met six years ago, added: “It was pretty surreal.”
