Parents tell of horrifying moment young mum-of-four collapsed and died in court from heart attack after family court hearing

A MUM-OF-FOUR who collapsed and died in court during a family hearing was consumed with stress, her father has revealed.

Hayley Gascoigne was sitting next to her parents during yesterday's family legal battle when she began to convulse, with paramedics unable to save the "devoted" mum.

: "My daughter died in my other daughter's arms.

"She died because of the stress."

The 32-year-old mum's tragic collapse at the Hull Crown Court yesterday saw her family consumed with grief with her mother heard screaming for help.

In heart-breaking scenes, her mum screamed: "Hayley. Oh My God. Call an ambulance. Please save her please."

Her father also yelled for help in the court, saying: "It’s my daughter please save her."

The young mum had just days before shared a photograph of her young family playing on trampolines at their local park, writing: "Happy 2day with my four".

With authorities now launching an investigation into the mum's death, friends have taken to tribute to remember Hayley.

One friend wrote:"She was a lovely, warm kind person and this is just so tragic.

"Love n strength to all her family n friends."

Another wrote: "A truly beautiful lady inside and out. Her poor babies... rip beautiful xxx"

It is believed Hayley had been in court for a ruling on her case.

She had gone to the bathroom before sitting down.

Her parents noticed her eyes rolling into the back of her head before she began to fit.

Two security guards and a first aider raced to her side, followed by a prison guard as her barrister dialled 999.

A single paramedic arrived at 2.40pm and began CPR.

Three police officers stood by as a further four paramedics arrived and gave her adrenalin.

Barristers involved in her case publicly wept as they witnessed her suffering a cardiac arrest.

Hayley's parents were comforted as the rescue operation continued for more than 20 minutes.

Two court rooms were also brought to a standstill as the defendants were ordered out of the building.

After 40 minutes Hayley was put on a trolley and taken via a lift out of the building to one of three waiting ambulances.

She was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary but was pronounced dead.

The judge involved in her case was said to be "very disturbed" by what happened.
