President Donald Trump signs executive order calling for a weekly list of crimes committed by immigrants to be published
AMERICA's new President has ordered his administration to publish a weekly list of crimes committed by immigrants.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order which calls for the Department of Homeland Security to put together a weekly "comprehensive list" of the crimes.
The order reads: "To better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated with sanctuary jurisdictions, the secretary shall utilise the Declined Detainer Outcome Report or its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honour any detainers with respect to such aliens."
It is not clear what the term "aliens" refers to.
The list will also reportedly include so-called "sanctuary cities" which refuse to hand over immigrant residents for deportation.
President Trump signed the order, which also calls fot the construction of the Mexico border wall, on Wednesday.
Earlier today Trump met with British Prime Minister, Theresa May and said that Brexit will be a "wonderful thing for your country".
The Prime Minister was all-smiles as she was greeted by the new President, and the pair were quick to bond over restoring the bust of iconic PM Winston Churchill back to the Oval Office.
