DR Ashlee Good saved the life of her baby before tragically passing away at a stabbing attack in Sydney.

Who was Dr Ashlee Good?

Dr Ashlee Good, 38, was one of the six victims of the 2024 Bondi Junction stabbings in Sydney on April 13, 2024.

She is a trained osteopath and a first-time mother.

After being rushed to hospital, she died on arrival at the emergency room.

Her father is a former Australian rules footballing icon Kerry Good, who played for North Melbourne.

What happened to Dr Ashlee Good?

Dr Ashlee Good had been stabbed by killer Joel Cauchi. 

Cauchi also stabbed her infant, who laid in a pushchair.

She then threw her baby to two men, who were fleeing from Cauchi.

Both men ran into a nearby store with the baby and Dr Ashlee Good following them. 

They told : "The baby got stabbed.

"The mum got stabbed and the mum came over with the baby and threw it at me.

I was holding the baby, it looked pretty bad."

His brother said that he was screaming for shirts to compress the baby and the mother to stop the bleeding.

Dr Good was then rushed to hospital in a critical condition but died soon after arriving.

Her nine-month-old baby was treated in surgery.

Did Dr Ashlee Good have any children? 

Dr Ashlee Good had one child, a nine-month-old baby.

In October 2023 she shared on her social media about the birth: "Feeling so proud, then so overwhelmed.

"Pure joy and extraordinary exhaustion blended with emotions you’ve never felt before.

"It’s a lot. 

“But what I do know is that it really is the most outstandingly beautiful gift one can ever receive.

"Sitting here feeling so deeply thankful, and still pinching myself she’s ours. 

“I love her so much."

Her family paid tribute to her online and said: “Today we are reeling from the terrible loss of Ashlee, a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, partner, friend, all round outstanding human and so much more.

"We appreciate the well-wishes and thoughts of members of the Australian public who have expressed an outpouring of love for Ashlee and our baby girl."
