THE horrific moment a Bollywood star was set upon by a pack of stray dogs has been caught on camera.
Parul Yadav was rushed to hospital after several feral mutts attacked her as she walked near her Mumbai home.
CCTV and witness-filmed footage shows several dogs running towards the 34-year-old actress, dragging her to the ground.
After a few seconds, a neighbour is joined by a rickshaw driver to chase the dogs away from the terrified Yadav.
She later described how she had been walking her puppy and had been forced to defend her young pet when the pack of dogs attacked.
She suffered injuries to her legs, face, scalp and neck and required surgery for a three-inch cut to her hand.
Yadav had been preparing for an upcoming role in the remake of a movie called Queen.
It is not clear whether filming will now go ahead as planned.
It was not confirmed whether Yadav’s puppy was injured in the attack.
