Bizarre pic of ‘Kenyan’ man with a wild Donald Trump-style blonde mane sparks endless memes… but (obviously) everything isn’t as it seems

A BIZARRE picture has been circulating on social media of a man people are saying are Donald Trump's African brother.

The image of the peculiarly coiffed gentleman has gone viral and sparked an internet frenzy.

It began to gain traction after it was shared on american comedian Ricky Smiley's Facebook page earlier this month with hundreds pilling into the comments section and sharing the post.

Internet users have dubbed the man "Nyirongo Trump" of Malawi while others have claimed he is The Donald's Kenayan brother.

However closer inspection of the photo, and a bit of digging, has revealed the gentleman to in fact be the Ghanaian president.

Indeed rather than being a picture of a long lost African member of the Trump clan it is in fact Nana Akufo-Addo.

An un-photoshopped version of the picture showed it to be Mr  Akufo-Addo meeting a celeb supporter of his party, the actor Kofi Adu.

Despite not being Trump's half-brother, President Addo has been nicknamed 'Nana Trump' by some of his supporters.

Chiefly because his campaign and inauguration happened in very close time-proximity to President Trump's.

And it appears the meme originated with an image that was shared by some of his supporters back in December, with the text "Nana Trump: Make Ghana great again".
