Shocked flyer snapped a picture of jacket, gloves and scarf hanging on door
A FURIOUS passenger has accused cabin crew on a Scandinavian Airlines flight of endangering lives after they used an emergency exit as a coat hanger.
Shocked flyer, Andy Reeves, 36, of Swindon, snapped a picture of the door's handle with a jacket, gloves and a scarf hung off it.
The picture even shows a pair of shoes left in front of the door.
Andy was flying from London to Alta, Norway, via Oslo to go and see the Northern Lights on January 19 last year.
He claims he raised concerns with an air stewardess while on the first leg of his trip, but she simply laughed. He said he also emailed the airline afterwards.

He said: "I think this could be a serious issue, it would be unforgivable if escape was restricted by clothing tied to the exit handle and boots blocking the door.
"The first thing that went through my mind was it will take 10-15 seconds to remove.
"Ten to 15 seconds in a smoke filled cabin for her to untie her clothes could be the difference between life and death."
During the second leg of Andy's trip, also on an Scandinavian Airlines flight, the plane did get into difficulties.
He said it was unable to land because of a blizzard and circled Alta airport for three or four hours.
The flight was then diverted to Sweden before heading back to Oslo.
Andy, who proposed to his fiancée Nicola during the holiday, added: “The whole situation was very difficult to deal with and I had very little faith in SAS because they were using an emergency exit to hang clothes on.”
