Facebook yesterday added a new tool to help people better ask for and receive advice from friends.
You don't need to change any settings to start using Recommendations.
When you write a Facebook post looking for advice on local places or services, it will convert into a Recommendation post.
Your friends can comment under your post with suggestions.
Related stories
They will appear in an easy to navigate map and list.
You can also go to your (desktop only) to ask a new question or help your friends.
