ASKING your chums for advice on where to go for dinner or the best tourist attractions to visit while on holiday is about to get a LOT easier.

Facebook yesterday added a new tool to help people better ask for and receive advice from friends.

You don't need to change any settings to start using Recommendations.

When you write a Facebook post looking for advice on local places or services, it will convert into a Recommendation post.

Your friends can comment under your post with suggestions.
