Kevin Spacey hits out at fresh sex claims made in Channel 4 documentary
Channel 4 say Kevin Spacey had been given sufficient time to respond to the claims
ACTOR Kevin Spacey has hit out at fresh sex claims against him in a Channel 4 documentary.
The Oscar-winning star was last year cleared of charges relating to alleged historic sex offences against four men.
Spacey Unmasked, on Monday and Tuesday nights, contains testimonies from ten men who weren’t a part of his London trial.
The documentary covers his life from high school in the US to his tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre in the capital from 2003 to 2015.
A trailer states the “men go on the record about their experiences with the acclaimed actor”.
The voice of one contributor alleges he was in a “sell your soul situation”.
Spacey, 64, wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network’s one-sided ‘documentary’ about me in their desperate attempt for ratings.
“There’s a proper channel to handle allegations against me and it’s not Channel 4.
“Each time I have been given the time and a proper forum to defend myself, I have been exonerated.”
C4 said: “Kevin Spacey has been given sufficient opportunity to respond.”
