David Cameron’s ex-EU Commissioner Lord Hill tells Remoaners to get over Brexit as it is not a catastrophe like the Black Death
Lord Hill says Remoaners must come together for a constructive Brexit as he launches new think tank
DAVID CAMERON’s former EU Commissioner has told ‘Remoaners’ to get over Brexit – saying it’s not a catastrophe like the “black death or Second World War”.
Lord Hill resigned in disgust just two days after the Referendum vote last June.
But speaking yesterday he said it was time for feuding politicians to stop arguing over “backward looking” issues.
He is launching a think tank with a hedge fund manager designed to bring warring sides together to discuss a ‘constructive’ Brexit.
The Conservative peer said: “The language of the debate, polarised between catastrophe and liberation, is part of the problem.
