Is Donald Trump’s hair real or fake?

Despite speculation that Trump wears a wig, his doctor confirmed Donald still has his natural locks.

Dr Bornstein, who treated the property tycoon for 36 years, revealed his famous patient takes a small dose of finasteride every day.

The New York-based doctor said that he also takes the drug as well to maintain his flowing shoulder length hair.

He said: "He (Trump) has all his hair. I have all my hair."

What did Ivanka Trump allegedly say about scalp reduction surgery?

Author Michael Wolff claimed Ivanka often mocks her dad's mop when she is speaking to friends.

In his book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, Wolff wrote Trump's hair is the result of scalp reduction surgery and careful styling held in place by strong hairspray.

The book reads: "She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate — a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery — surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the centre and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray."

Scalp reduction — also known as alopecia reduction — is a procedure in which a surgeon removes a man’s bald spot, then sews the more hirsute skin back together.

The book also claims Trump’s distinctive blonde hair colour was the result of his own “impatience” as he attempts to get rid of grey hairs using cheap dye.

Wolf's novel, out on January 9, is based on more than 200 interviews over 18 months with the author claiming to have had unprecedented access to the White House.
