Body found in search for missing man who disappeared from nightclub three weeks ago
Family thank those who joined hunt for missing 24-year-old
A BODY has been found in the search for a clubber who disappeared while on a night out in Bristol on January 14.
Deakon Wilkins, 24, from Weston-super-Mare, went missing after partying at Motion nightclub, sparking a huge search.
Avon and Somerset police have said a body was found in water close to the city's Floating Harbour on Sunday.
Mr Wilkins family has been informed but no formal identification has taken place.
His father Andy wrote on Facebook: "Just to let people know the police have found my son Deakon's body today, I would just like to thank everyone who helped in the search for our boy, we are so grateful for all your thoughts and help.

"At the moment we want our privacy to be with our family and remembering Deakon [in] happy and good times, but once again I would like to thank you all for your help and wishes of hope."
