Smiling shark in Florida looks just like friendly Bruce from Finding Nemo thanks to her mis-set jaw
Snooty the shark's jaw is mis-set so she looks like she's smiling
SNAP! This shark has a grin to rival Bruce in Disney movie Finding Nemo, but she’s safer by smiles.
Snooty the lemon shark is a celebrity with divers off Jupiter, Florida, because a mis-set jaw gives her a constant beam.
Bruce is less than toothful about his killer instinct, but Snooty is gentle and friendly.
Photographer Cassie Jensen had been wanting to see Snooty the Lemon Shark for ‘years’ and was amazed to see she actually does look like Bruce from Finding Nemo.
Cassie said: “I have been diving with many sharks before, but this was the first time I had ever met Snooty.
“I’ve been wanting to meet her for a long time, so when I saw her cruise by me, my heart began to race.
“She is a well known shark in Florida waters for the way her jaw is set, causing her to constantly look like she is smiling.
“She also has a crimped tail but it doesn’t seem to bother her, and we love her even more for it.
“She’s always smiling and happy to be around us!”
