Missing boys, 10 and 12, last seen in Birmingham park eating ice creams found safe after major police search
TWO missing boys aged 10 and 12, who were last seen eating ice cream in a Birmingham park, have been found safe and well.
West Midlands Police had launched an urgent search to locate Abu and Bilal, who vanished on Sunday.
They had last been seen in Cannon Hill Park.
Birmingham Police confirmed on X: "FOUND. Missing 10-year-old Bilal and 12-year-old Abu have just been found safe and well.
"Thank you so much for your concern and for sharing our appeal."
The park had been busy with visitors enjoying the summer weather at the time the boys went missing.

The force previously shared a photo of the pair eating ice cream while standing in front of an ice cream van.
The original appeal post read: "Have you seen Abu and Bilal ? The 12 and ten-year-olds, pictured earlier today, were last seen earlier today in Cannon Hill Park and we're concerned for their safety.
"We have a number of resources in the area at the moment searching for them, and we're asking anyone who sees them or thinks they saw them to call 999 immediately quoting log number 2218 of May 19."
