VLADIMIR Putin has threatened to strike British targets "anywhere" if UK weapons are launched into Russia by Ukraine.
The Russian president has issued the terrifying threat amid growing signs Western missiles could be fired beyond Ukraine's borders.
The big reveal was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Thursday.
She repeated a warning that Moscow first issued earlier this month after British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said Ukraine had a right to use weapons provided by London to hit targets inside Russia.
The ex-PM also announced new British military aid for Ukraine - saying it would be up to Kyiv how it used the UK-supplied weapons.
Moscow reacted with outrage as a result, citing Lord Cameron's comments as one of the reasons why it has opted to hold exercises this month to simulate the launch of tactical nuclear missiles.

Raging Vlad even slammed the former PM and branded his comments as "dangerous and worrying".
Lord Cameron said: "In terms of what the Ukrainians do, in our view, it is their decision about how to use these weapons.
"They’re defending their country, they were illegally invaded by Putin and they must take those steps."
It prompted a fierce response from the Kremlin, with Putin's puppet spokesman Dmitry Peskov vowing his comments could " imperil the entire system of European security architecture".

Peskov added: "The Kremlin views Cameron’s statements about Kyiv’s right to use British weapons to strike the Russian Federation as a direct escalation."
Britain's Chief of Defence Staff has said Ukraine will ramp-up long-range strikes inside Russia as billions of pounds of new weapons flood in.
Britain has already pledged more than 1,600 long-range armaments including Storm Shadow missiles and Paveway IV laser-guided bombs.
The UK agreed an extra £500million military aid to Ukraine last month, bringing our contribution to £3billion this year.
But Puutin could also look to sink Britain under a nuclear tidal wave if Nato sends troops to Ukraine, a Russian propagandist has warned.
Top Putin crony Dmitry Kiselyov claims that any bid by the West to "inflict a strategic defeat on Russia” would result in Armageddon.
The TV presenter - who is also overall chief of Russia’s largest propaganda empire - said Putin would unleash his Satan-2 and other deadly nuclear missiles.
Earlier this month, the paranoid tyrant ordered tactical nuclear weapons testing in a direct warning to the West to back-off.
Cameron supports UK missiles in Russia

Foreign Secretary David Cameron believes Ukraine has the right to strike inside Russia the same way Moscow has been striking inside Ukraine.
The former PM recently announced new British military aid for Ukraine during a visit to Kyiv earlier this month.
£3billion has been pledged to Ukraine but it is up to them how they use it, according to Cameron.
He backed up his claim by saying Vladimir Putin's illegal invasion two years ago has forced Ukraine into taking the appropriate steps - with or without UK weapons.
"In terms of what the Ukrainians do, in our view, it is their decision about how to use these weapons," he said.
Lord Cameron did not directly endorse the idea of British weapons being used to strike targets inside Russia, HOWEVER.
But Putin and his cronies heard enough to brand the former PM's comments as "dangerous and worrying".
Russia's threat comes amid fears of an all-out-war with NATO surge as the Kremlin tells Western officials a "worldwide catastrophe" will break out if they continue to support Ukraine.
This is believed to involve land, air and sea practice and preparations, say the defence ministry, with even those in Downing Street told they can't hide anymore.
The drills are thought to be linked to the US, UK and France in particular after French President Emmanuel Macron declared he will send his troops to Ukraine if Putin breaks through the frontline.

In April, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak pledged the biggest defence boost in a generation as £75billion across the next six years was made available to put the UK on a "war footing".
From nuclear subs and air defences to a more digital-led army, Sunak hailed it as the “biggest strengthening of national defence in a generation” to combat a growing axis of evil between Russia, Iran, China and North Korea.
How dangerous is Putin's nuclear arsenal?
HYPERSONIC Sarmat, also known as Satan 2, is the world's biggest Balistic missile capable of cruising at 15,880mph.
The 208-ton doomsday intercontinental nuclear weapon is the size of a 14-storey building.
It is hailed by Putin as "unstoppable", that can attack the West after flying into space over the south or north pole.
Meanwhile, Russia also has the nuclear-capable hypersonic missile system Avangard that can shoot missiles at targets at 27 times the speed of sound.
At the centre of Russian strategic nuclear force is the Yars missile that currently Putin boasts.
With a range of whopping 7,500 miles, it is a missile capable of striking the US from Russian soil.
Despite being hyped by the dictator, Russia has not yet unleashed Sarmat or Avangard missiles.
