AWARD-winning rapper C.Gambino has been shot dead in an ambush attack in Sweden.
The masked artist, 26, had parked his car in a garage in Gothenburg last night when gunmen unleashed a hail of bullets - fatally wounding him.
He was rushed to hospital, where he died shortly afterwards.
Cops received a call about a shooting near Selma Lagerlöf's Square in the Hisingen area of the city on Tuesday evening.
Police officer Thomas Fuxborg said: "[The rapper] lived here in the area and when he came to park his car, [the shooters] waiting for him attacked him."
Authorities reportedly found seven bullet marks on a glass door of the parking garage.

A yellow rose has today been placed in front of the door as a tribute.
Cops have now opened an investigation and are urging people to come forward with information.
Spokesperson Jens Andersson said: "[A] witness saw a car that is seen in connection with what happened. We are investigating whether it is true."
Another spokesperson Annika Laag added: "We are working to collect witness information from as many [locals] as we can and continue to work on the technical investigation."

After the shooting, cops raided an address in Gothenburg, it is understood.
Police say several people have been brought in for questioning, but there are currently no suspects.
C.Gambino was hailed as one of Sweden's greatest and most successful artists.
His hit albums, including Sin City and In Memory of Some Stand Up Guys, topped the Swedish music charts.
He won the prestigious Swedish music award Grammis in May for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year.
