Assad appears to suggest Trump is RIGHT to stop Syrian migrants after saying some are ‘definitely’ terrorists
SYRIAN leader Bashar al-Assad has claimed some refugees from his war-torn nation could be terrorists - but he stopped short of backing Trump’s migrant ban.
In an interview, the dictator admits some of the refugees fleeing his country’s brutal five year civil war were “definitely” terrorists.
Donald Trump’s had ordered a ban on citizens travelling from seven countries – Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and Iraq – from entering America over a 90-day period on grounds of national security.
The ban, which also put a 120-day freeze on the US taking in any refugees, has caused outrage among liberals in the West.
But when asked about whether some of refugees be “aligned with terrorists,” he replied “definitely”.
Speaking exclusively to Yahoo News said: “You can find it on the Net.
“Those terrorists in Syria, holding the machine gun or killing people, they [appear as] peaceful refugees in Europe or in the West.”
