INCREDIBLE footage shows stunned cops discovering a kidnap victim in the boot of a car at a checkpoint.

It is reported that the incident which involves a white vehicle happened in Brazil.

The clip, posted on , shows officers begin searching the back of the car, which contained two occupants, when they reportedly heard a scream from the boot.

The policemen are filmed trying out different buttons on the dashboard to try and unlock the boot.

After finally opening the trunk, they are gobsmacked to discovered a frail woman curled up inside with her hands and feet bound.

She appears relieved and hugely emotional after being saved.

As she struggles to stand, police help cut the bandaging with which tied her wrists' together and remove a cloth covering her mouth and neck.

Heartwarming final scenes show the overjoyed but exhausted victim throwing her arms around one of the officers.
