The youngster was just nine when he made pledged allegiance to the terror group after he watched videos of ISIS prisoners being beheaded, set on fire and learnt the names of the organisation's top commanders.

He said he was driven to ISIS propaganda after he was bullied at school which included being labelled a "terrorist" by classmates.

Haroon told BBC Radio Four's Today Programme: "I saw men with hands behind their backs. They were hit and told to sit down. That's when they cut their heads off.

"On a weekend, everyone was outside playing so I would sit freely in the living room with the computer."

Haroon said he began looking into ISIS following the Paris terror attacks in November 2015, reading BBC articles and watching a Channel 4 documentary.

This led him to finding some dark material on the internet, including the torture videos.

He even played an ISIS video game.

His confession at school led to him being referred to the Government's Prevent programme, aimed at fighting radical extremism.

Haroon's case was closed after a year of sessions aimed at tackling his ISIS sympathies and teaching him to view the world differently.

Earlier this month it was reported that the terror group had been dishing out twisted textbooks to poison innocent children's minds.

Called English for the Islamic State Book, the text books are tailor-made for its so called Cubs of the Caliphate.

They intertwine vocab and language English language exercises with images of violence.
