Megabucks motor goes airborne before smashing into a palm tree
A DRIVER who borrowed his friend's £900,000 Lamborghini to go to a party wrote it off after crashing into a palm tree.
Satinrawat Khampiranon, 32, jumped in the black Murcialago SuperVeloce after eating at a restaurant with pals in Bangkok, Thailand.
He had two friends in the back and as it went up a steep part of the road became airborne.
He lost control of the supercar, clipped a motorbike and ploughed it into a palm tree on the side of the road at 3am on Monday morning.
The driver was unhurt but his two friends suffered minor cuts and bruises in the crash.
Horror pictures show the entire front and side of the car totally destroyed.
Police said that the group escaped serious injury but the driver would be charged with reckless driving, causing injury to others and damaging private property.
