JEREMY CORBYN has “given up” on the Copeland by-election, it was claimed tonight.
Aides to the Labour leader confirmed yesterday he did not expect to campaign in the constituency again before polling day on February 23.
But Theresa May is expected to visit the key seat on Wednesday.
It follows the Sun’s revelations yesterday that canvas returns showed 30 per cent of Labour voters in the constituency had deserted the party.
