A TODDLER is shot dead live on Facebook as gunmen targeting a man open fire on a family car.
A pregnant woman, who was left injured, can be heard screaming: "They killed him... I have a bullet in my stomach".
Little Lavontay White Jr. was slaughtered in broad daylight as he travelled in the back seat on South Kenneth Avenue, Chicago on Tuesday afternoon.
The woman, 20, who was filming her and her boyfriend singing in the car, can be seen jumping out of the door as gunshots ring out.
The male driver, 26, was killed along with the tot after both were hit in the head, the reports.
Police said the woman and her unborn baby were in a stable condition at Mount Sinai Hospital last night.
She told investigators their car was blocked as they tried to drive out of an alleyway, before a gunman got out and opened fire.
Lavontay was the second child to die in Chicago due to gunshot wounds on Tuesday alone, leading to calls for stricter gun laws.
Takiya Holmes, 11, died of injuries from a shooting on Saturday. Another girl, Kanari Gentry Bowers, 12, remains in critical condition on life support.
In a statement Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said: "These shootings must be a turning point for our city.
"Anyone with information about these crimes owes it to the families of these children to come forward."
