Gender chaos
AGAIN Labour is plunged into chaos and confusion over its many stances on gender.
Has it learned nothing from its years of calling self-identifying male-bodied transwomen “women”, seeking to grant them access to female safe spaces and shunning Rosie Duffield, the one Labour MP who spoke sense on it all?
Keir Starmer now agrees with her that men have a penis and women a vagina — a fact he apparently needed to clarify with Tony Blair.
Yet Labour also wants to make it easier to change gender, smoothing the path for confused young people to make life-changing decisions altering them permanently — and potentially making women-only spaces less safe.
This, we are told, is “modernisation”. The current Tory process, with its range of safeguards, is “not dignified”, as Starmer told our Never Mind The Ballots show last night.
As for whether woke teachers should be allowed to force-feed nonsense about multiple genders to schoolkids, Labour seems at cross purposes there too.

Bridget Phillipson, probably Education Secretary in just ten days, refuses to back strict new Tory guidelines which ban it. Starmer contradicts her.
He insists he doesn’t want ideology taught in any form. Which will be news to many teachers who think nothing of flaunting their left-wing views in class.
Would a Starmer Government take them on? And would any Labour assurances made on gender be over-ruled in favour of the loudest voices if they’re in Downing Street on July 5?
Given this mess, it’s small wonder that so many women’s rights campaigners like JK Rowling, who would ordinarily vote Labour, cannot do so this time.

Bets are off
YOU would think Radio 4’s declining “flagship” Today programme would want to cling on to all the listeners it can.
How strange, then, for it to bin its daily racing tips after 47 years, reserving them solely now for the calendar’s biggest events.
Strange, until you consider the BBC’s senior executives: Joyless middle-class wokesters who sneer at working people having a flutter as vulgar and don’t think the Beeb should encourage them.
What with the show’s naked bias towards the left-wing Remainer class, who can blame ordinary people for switching it off?
Hammer time
IT’S time to end the post-mortems and stop the squabbling.
Because two lacklustre England displays won’t matter a damn if we hammer Slovenia tonight.
So let’s bin the bickering — and watch the lads shine like we know they can.
They’re great players. They just need an injection of Kane-do spirit.
Come on, England!
