Pokemon Go style app that will lead Brits to treasure worth THREE MILLION launches

Augmented reality app Snatch encourages Brits to STEAL items worth millions

BRITS are running out onto the streets and stealing for fun thanks to a new Pokemon GO-style app that's offering real prizes.

Snatch promises lots of lovely gifts for treasure hunters across the UK - but also encourages stealing off other players.

Snatching can take place at home, on city streets, or at work

It will be adding cash prizes across Britain up to £250,000 per month for players.

Over the course of the year £3 million will be given away to players.

But in a cruel twist, players will be able to steal from each other.

Prizes include gifts from Marmite,  TopShop, TopMan, All Bar One, Mitchells & Butler, Just Eat, Pizza Hut Delivery and Now TV.

The app launched at the end of 2016 and is on track to reach 100,000 users by March 2017, according to its developers.

Simply download the app to start playing, and use it to find prizes hidden in your surroundings.

Popularity in augmented reality apps is on the rise thanks to Niantic's mobile hit.

But the craze for Pokemon GO has sparked several nasty injuries and bizarre discoveries after the masses moved outside to "catch 'em all".

Carl Gregory, 20, was killed while playing the game in Broadstairs, Kent, in October.
