A CRACKPOT vlogger has buried himself one metre below ground and is live streaming the experience on Facebook Live and YouTube.

Russian YouTuber Gabar began streaming the grim event this morning and is expected to be be dug up at around 11am on Friday.

A description under the live stream on his YouTube channel states: "Today at 14:00 Moscow time blogger carries out a very dangerous experiment on himself.

"He will be buried alive for 24 hours.

"Do not try to repeat it by yourself.

The chilling YouTube stream shows the daredevil and his pals digging the one metre pit in the Russian countryside.

A brief glimpse inside the coffin shows a sleeping bag, a packet of water bottles and Lipton ice tea are all Gabar will have to hand along with torches and his smartphone.

The amateur stuntman appears to be following in magician David Blaine's footsteps.

The American buried himself alive for a week back in 1999.

He survived on nothing but liquids for seven days and nights.
