POLICE are investigating the death of a teen following a festival in a popular seaside town.
The 17-year-old girl passed away in hospital on the evening of June 29.
It is understood that she had been attending a drum and bass festival at Dreamland amusement park in Margate, Kent.
The seaside hotspot was the venue for the all-day Worried About Henry event.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 5.58pm on Saturday, June 29 to be made aware of the death of a 17-year-old girl at the QEQM hospital in Margate.
"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the death and a report is being made for the coroner."

A spokesperson for Dreamland said: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of a 17-year-old woman in hospital on
Saturday June 29.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman’s family and friends and we will continue to work closely with Kent Police where relevant as they investigate this tragedy further."
The South East Coast Ambulance Service and Worried About Henry have been contacted for comment.
It comes after a 22-year-old tourist died while "jumping over a wall to escape robbers" after travelling to Brazil for a Madonna concert in May.
