Dad’s warning after daughter, 11, is sent stream of sick messages from paedo using popular Musical.ly app including naked selfies and rape threats

A "DISGUSTED" dad has warned parents to beware after a paedophile barraged his young daughter with explicit photos — and threatened to rape and kill her.

Musical.ly is a mobile platform for sharing videos, but there are fears that perverts are too easily able to target and groom underage kids using its messaging service.

One girl aged 11 was sent sick naked selfies by a man posing as a teenage boy asking her to perform sex acts on camera or he would rape and murder her.

Speaking to The Sun, the schoolgirl's dad said he was "appalled" at the danger the app posed to kids.

The electrician from Bewdley, Worcs, who The Sun is not naming to protect his daughter's identity, said he regularly checks her phone to make sure she is staying safe online.

But he was shocked to find a string of twisted messages sent over a two week period on what he thought was a harmless music game.

"I just wanted to make people aware how easily this can happen", he said.

"I check my daughter's phone regularly but never thought I would find something like this".

After scouring his daughter's phone, which she only got as a Christmas present two months ago, he contacted West Mercia police who took a statement and the mobile for analysis.

But after the investigation appeared to go cold he decided to download the app and pose as a 14-year-old girl to try to snare the web predator himself.

And he was amazed to find how quickly he was bombarded with sick snaps and requests to send nude photos.

Almost immediately he was sent pictures of a man's penis with the message: "Make it hard".

The paedo, who goes under the username huskey123456, gave his name as Gary and said he was from Chicago, US.

He even gave his phone number, which has been passed on to investigators.
