Teenage girl, 17, ‘forced into car at knifepoint after driver pulled in front of her moped’
Victim told cops she was in the driver's passenger seat for 30 to 45 minutes before managing to escape
A DRIVER forced a 17-year-old girl into his car at knifepoint after pulling in front of her moped, police have said.
The victim told cops she was in the driver's passenger seat for 30 to 45 minutes before managing to escape when he became distracted by an approaching vehicle.
The terrifying attack allegedly took place at about 10.30pm on February 15.
The teenager said she was riding her moped along the road when a dark car pulled up in front of her, causing her to stop.
The driver is described as in his late 20s or early 30s, tanned, slim and about 5ft 6ins.

He was wearing a plain black T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms or jeans and had short spiky hair.
The girl said that at one point he spoke in a foreign language to someone on the phone.
Police would particularly like to speak to two motorists who are said to have stopped at the scene.
