THIS is the horrifying moment a passenger plane is battered by intense gusts as it tries to land at a British airport as Storm Doris continues to wreak havoc.
The KLM jet was approaching to land at Leeds Bradford Airport this morning amid wind of up to 90mph across the country, alongside snow and torrential rain.
As the plane begins its descent, it can be seen being turned sideways by gusts.
Thankfully the pilot manages to pull off the awkward landing by turning the nose of the plane straight just moments before it touches the runway.
Today commuters are being warned not to make unnecessary journeys with widespread reports of flights being grounded and speed limits imposed on trains.
