EuroMillions-winning mum Bev Doran fear jobless ex will SUE to get his hands on her new £14m fortune

LOTTO mum Bev Doran fears her ex will launch legal action to get his hands on a share of her £14.5million EuroMillions jackpot.

The single mum-of-four split from jobless Sean Priestley, 48, just seven months ago after 12 years and three kids together.

Pals last night told how she is seeking legal advice amid concerns skint Sean will try to mount a case to stake a claim on her new-found riches.

One said: "He doesn't deserve a single penny of it. She's getting advice at the moment and that's one area she's looking at."

Another said: "He should have stuck around a bit longer if he wanted some of the money. More fool him if he's stupid enough to try.

"If it was me I'd tell him to f*** off. It's not his money. It's for her and her kids. She'll get advice and deal with it."

Luckless dad-of six Sean looked miserable as he walked to his local Co-op store yesterday and bought a litre bottle of coca-cola and some bread.

He trudged back home through the wind and driving rain as Bev showered herself in luxury at a nearby four-star hotel and planned her new life.

She has already called time on her £320-a-week benefits and walked out of her cramped three-bed council house in Shipley, West Yorks.

Bev even told neighbours to help themselves to her belongings - including a microwave, £600 new sofa she bought at Christmas and tumble dryer.

She turned her back on the property after scooping the jackpot last Friday - and council workmen arrived yesterday to board it up to thwart looters.

Inside, an empty can of cherry Fanta was left on the worktops in the tiny kitchen alongside cleaning products, baby wipes and a fish tank.

The black and silver curtains remained up whilst the cupboards were emptied and what food was left was given to neighbours.

Two coffee mugs were left on the drainer and a green kitchen utensils clock was still hanging on the wall above the electric cooker.

The sitting room, decorated with floral wallpaper, was empty save for a cross trainer and running machine.

Bev had recently lost three stone on Slimming World.

A discarded hairbrush, pens, playing cards, a fork and an empty Wotsits crisp packet - once hidden beneath the family sofa - were all that was left on the floor.

The former receptionist, who quit work two years ago to care for her autistic kids, is now house-hunting but plans to stay in the area.

Gutted ex Sean, however, has told pals he will not be getting a penny. He wrote on Facebook: "Shes already assured me I will never see a penny.

"So please don't ask me to have a word, see if I can borrow owt or invest in anything...

"It's nothing to do with me. I am and probably always will be skint."

Another ex, Paul Brandon, dad to Bev's eldest son, 17, had previously stayed in a homeless hostel but is now a born-again Christian.

Brandon, who has a fine art degree from Bradford College, cut contact with pals after leaving Bradford Cyrenians hostel in 2014.

A source said: "He had his demons, but he was determined to sort himself out."

Bev said her win was a real life "rags to riches" tale after years of battling to provide for her family on state handouts and mistakes with men.

She told how she recently dined out but could only stretch to a poached egg on toast at her local Morrisons supermarket.

She discovered she had won the jackpot on Saturday morning whilst lying in bed and checking her phone.

After winning £50 in Wednesday's draw she decided to make the most of her good luck so spent £25 buying 10 EuroMillions lucky dip tickets online.

When she realised she had won she rang her supermarket worker mum, Adhel Northrop, 60, and told her: "I've won the Lotto - you'll never have to work again."

Adhel, who lives in a small terrace home in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts., said: "We're all absolutely thrilled for Bev. It couldn't have happened to a better person.

"She thoroughly deserves it.

"Life hasn't been a apiece of cake for her but luckily she's always had the support of family.

"Bev phoned me first thing Saturday morning. I was in the shower getting ready for work on the checkouts at Morrisons.

"She just quite calmly said that she had won the Euromillions and told me how much.

"My first reaction was that it might be a scam and told her to get in touch with the lottery people to get everything confirmed."

Adhel added: "I called her back on my lunch break by which time it had all been confirmed that Bev was a multi-millionaire.

"The next thing Bev said was that I should immediately pack in work and that from now on she would be looking after me.

"I finished my shift and then went home and put my feet up.

"Bev's a level-headed girl so she won't be doing anything stupid. There'll be a new house and car and perhaps a holiday place in Portugal.

"She won't be moving far from where she lives because her kids are settled in the area. Bev loves her kids and what's best for them will be her priority.

"I've told her to take her time and not to be in a rush and make any silly decisions. But she's sensible enough and I'm sure what ever she decides to do it will be right."

Bev won £14,509,500 on Friday night's EuroMillions draw with her lucky dip ticket. Her numbers were 19, 25, 33, 36 and 48, with lucky stars 2 and 9.
