Holly Valance’s billionaire brother-in-law ‘hates her, threatened his business partner and billed Kylie £1.5m for decorating’
Billionaire Christian Candy and his brother Nick, have been taken to court by a former business partner over claims of blackmail and intimidation
HOLLY Valance’s billionaire brother-in-law Christian Candy hates her, a civil court case heard yesterday.
Entrepreneur Mark Holyoake has accused his former business partners , brothers Christian and Nick Candy, of blackmail and intimidation.
It has been claimed Christian thought his brother's wife, former Neighbours star Holly Valance, had a “dubious” background and tried to dissuade Nick, 44, from marrying her.
Mark Holyoake claims he feared for his life after he pulled out of a property deal in 2012 owing them £12million.
His wife Emma said they increased security at their family’s Ibiza home and named three acquaintances of the Candy's who she claimed “died mysteriously”.
She also alleged Christian, 42, said of actress Holly at a party in 2012: “If she sees me coming she better f***ing cross over onto the other side of the road.”
She added: "Holly used some pretty strong and fruity language to describe Christian, the gist of which was that he was rude, aggressive, dishonest and a cruel man."
Breaking down Emma said the relationship soured over the business deal and added:"Nick changed overnight into this person we didn't recognise."
She described how she now slept in the same room as her three children when her husband is away and cameras have been installed all over their home.
She said:"This is no exaggeration, but the real impact on my life and my husband's life of the threats made by Christian.

"Mark had informed me that Christian had repeatedly threatened him saying such things as he would destroy him and his family, he would nuclear bomb his entire world" and would, f*** him up in any way possible if he did not do exactly what was asked of him."
London’s High Court also heard how pop star Kylie Minogue, 48, once paid the Candy's £1.5million to decorate her West London home.
The dispute centres on a luxury property deal which Holyoake pulled out of before repaying the brothers more than £37million.
He is now seeking £132million for lost profits, over-payments, legal costs and aggravated damages.
The Candys deny the claims “in their entirety”.
Christian is due to give evidence today.
The hearing continues.
