THIS is the shocking moment a car leaving a slip road was filmed smashing straight into a roundabout.

The horrifying dashcam footage –captured by another driver – shows the white BMW approaching the junction at speed before losing control.

The clip was posted to Dash Cam Network on Monday and has already been viewed more than 800,000 times.

In the video the driver who caught the accident on his dashcam can be heard saying: “Oh my god, did you see that?”

The car was travelling along the A2 in Kent when the driver attempted to leave at the Bluewater shopping centre exit.

But instead of slowing on the approach to the roundabout the motor appears to continue at some speed before mounting the roundabout and slamming straight into hedges.

The post has attracted hundreds of comments according to .

One viewer said: "I commute down this road every day to and from London. Commuting on a motorcycle is one of the most stressful things to do."

Mikey Fearn added: “This is why there's always police tape around the roundabout!”

The video was posted on Monday but it is not known when the incident took place.

The condition of the driver is unknown.
