World Book Day sees mum dress up her son as the ARGOS catalogue for school
HARRY Potter and Horrid Henry might be some of the characters young boys decide to dress up as for World Book Day but one mum sent her son to school as the Argos catalogue and insisted "it's his favourite book".
Vicki Bowles posted pictures of her son on Facebook hours go along with a number of laughing emojis.
She also tweeted a picture of the costume on Twitter and tagged Argos.
Vicki told the Sun Online that the catalogue, which features items ranging from toys to technology, is her son's favourite book.

She added: "He loves reading it and telling me what toys he wants.
"The reaction has been amazing, got stopped by so many people on the way to school.
"Argos themselves tweeted me back."
The retail company tweeted back to say they hoped Vicki's son had a "great day".
A spokesperson added: "With over 1700 pages of everything from toys to tech and some toasters in between, we agree that the Argos catalogue is a real page-turner."
World Book Day, which is today, has been celebrated for more than 20 years.
The event sees authors, illustrators and readers alike celebrate literature and dress up as their favourite characters.
It appears Vicki wasn't the only one whose child wanted to dress up as something different.
Comedian Joe Heenan sent his son to school dressed as Trainspotting psychopath Begbie and posted a picture of the youngster on Twitter.
Celebrities have also been posting pictures of their children dressed up for the day.
Sports stars Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand also posted pictures of their children dressed up for the event.
Fearne Cotton also posted a picture of her son Rex in a squid hat and said in the caption it's the "only fancy dress he'll tolerate".
The aim of World Book Day is to celebrate books and reading and is marked in a total of 100 countries around the world.
Both primary schools and secondary schools up and down the country take part as a way of encouraging children to see reading as a hobby.
Many schools run special activities to show how reading books can be fun and to allow kids to discover new authors.
One of the most well-known activities on World Book Day is when children are invited to go to school dressed as their favourite literary character.
From Harry Potter to Willy Wonka and Mary Poppins, some parents outdo themselves in the brilliant costumes they make for their little ones.
Also World Book Day provides children with the opportunity to buy a book of their own.
Each school pupil from five to 18, is given a £1 token they can redeem against a whole range of paperbacks or audio books.
