Celeb DJ Denise van Outen, who shared the video, described it as a "surprise booth rave up with Angela Rayner".

The Housing Secretary showed off her moves beside renowned DJ FISHER who blasted out a dance remix of Gotye's hit song Somebody That I Used to Know.

As the beat of the song dropped, the nightclub lit up with flashing lights and the Deputy PM was seen jumping up and down in time with the music.

FISHER, whose real name is Paul Fisher, put his headphones round the neck of the Labour minister as he laughed and hugged her.

The Australian house and techno producer was wearing a colourful patterned shirt, sunglasses and bucket hat, was joined by the Government minister as part of his summer season on the Spanish island.

His residency has seen him bring in a host of DJs across the summer to Hi Ibiza, a super-club with a capacity of 5,000 people.

Princes in Hi Ibiza can start at around 100 euros (£84) for entry, with drinks packs of five beverages selling for 95 euros (£80), and bottles of water cost £11.

Tagged in the social media post is the club venue Hi Ibiza and the boutique hotel Pikes.

However, it's not know where Ms Rayner was staying on the sun-kissed island.

Ms Rayner is no stranger to dancing the night away.

Last year in an interview at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival she revealed she had just returned from Spain where she had been up from partying from 4pm until 6am the next day drinking vodka.

She told comedian Matt Forde: "The girls I was raving with are half my age, and I was like 'I'm a grandma'.

"I was proud of that. 4pm I started, and I got home at six o'clock in the morning when the sun was shining and I was like, 'Yes, I can do it'."

Asked if she did it "with or without chemical support", she said she just had vodka.

"You've got to go with the music, the vibes. You've got to be in the moment and it takes you," Ms Rayner added.
