Lag serving LIFE after murdering woman for her watch ‘had sex in jail after sneaking into private room with female visitor’
Daniel Whyte was given life after millionaire’s wife Giuseppina Martorana was gunned down on her doorstep
A LAG serving life for murder allegedly had sex during a visit.
Daniel Whyte, 39, who killed a woman for her Rolex, is said to have slipped into a private room with a female visitor.
Two other lags are said to have spotted them having “full sex” last month at The Mount category C jail, near Bovingdon, Herts.
A source said: “They couldn’t believe their eyes. Whyte and his girl were at it hammer and tongs.
“Prisoners are meant to be monitored at all times during visits. It’s just unthinkable.” No CCTV cameras are thought to have been covering the area.
Whyte and Jason James were each given life after millionaire’s wife Giuseppina Martorana was gunned down on her doorstep in 2000 in Hoddesdon, Herts for her luxury watch.
Husband Guiseppe, 63, who was returning from a shopping trip with his wife when they were ambushed, said: "It makes a mockery of the system.
"If he's been allowed to get away with having sex with his girlfriend it's an absolute shambles.
"There needs to be a full investigation because either there are corrupt officers or the system is just useless.
