VOLODYMYR Zelensky has publicly urged the UK and US to allow Ukraine to attack deep inside Russia using long-range missiles.
The Ukrainian President called for “strong decisions” as he met with Foreign Secretary David Lammy yesterday.
Ukraine is currently barred from firing UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles at Russian supply lines due to fears of escalation.
But the restrictions could soon be lifted as US President Joe Biden meets with PM Sir Keir Starmer on Friday.
At his meeting with Mr Lammy and US counterpart Antony Blinken, Mr Zelensky said: “Let’s count on strong decisions on this.”
Mr Blinken this week warned that Russia had received Iranian ballistic missiles and could use them against Ukraine soon.

Yesterday, he said that Vladimir Putin had “escalated” the war by seeking Iran’s missiles.
Mr Lammy added: “We’re here to listen, to understand the strategy.
“As the closest of allies, we look forward to discussions.”
