A RYAN Gosling lookalike has blagged his way into a German film ceremony and been given an award while Hollywood stars watched on in bewilderment.
Incredibly, the man - a cook from Munich named Ludwig Lehner - was able to take the stage despite bearing only a passing resemblance to the American celebrity.
The hilarious prank took place at the Goldene Kamera awards after comedians Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf created a fake acting agency and told organisers Gosling would attend if he was given an award.
The stunt begins with the presenter announcing: "Men, hold onto your wives and wives hold onto your men, here is the one and only Ryan Gosling!"
To loud applause, Ludwig walks onto the stage. But to anyone even slightly familiar with Gosling's appearance, it would have been clear it was not the real Gosling.
The presenter can even be heard muttering: "Interesting..." as Ludwig shakes his hand.
Ludwig then addresses the crowd.
Speaking in a thick German accent, he says: "Good evening. I am Ryan Gosling, I dedicate this award to Joko and Klass, thank you very much. There's a saying in Hamburg, which is bye bye."
Crowd shots revealed those stars in attendance - including Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell and Jane Fonda - looking bewildered by the stunt.
