THREE Brit tourists have been arrested after a night-time brawl in a hotel in Majorca.

Holidaymakers told cops they were assaulted by the Brits after complaining about the extreme noise they were making around the pool area.

They said the trio, understood to be two men and a woman, were kicked out of their hotel in Santa Ponsa after the heated altercation.

They were nabbed after hotel staff identified them as the aggressors.

The woman allegedly punched one of the officers in the chest after showing her middle finger at police when she was being detained.

The three Brits were later released but an investigation into the assault is ongoing.

They were forced to find another holiday accommodation after the incident and remain banned from the hotel.

Meanwhile, a Brit couple were arrested at Majorca airport after trying to fly home without paying their £160 hotel bill.

The shamed duo, 21 and 22, had been staying in the resort of Palmanova next to Magaluf when they dashed to Palma Airport.

The hotel claimed they tried to pay via credit card but this failed - so they left the lobby saying they were going to get cash.

Instead, they tried to escape back to the UK without settling their bill.

The couple were met at the airport by cops, reports , and ended up spending the night in the police cells before agreeing to pay their way - which was around 192 Euros.

The incidents will further fuel the rising anti-tourism sentiment that's been spreading among locals in popular holiday hotspots across Spain.

Residents complain of shameful acts by tourists such as the display of nudity and frequent violent brawls after getting drunk.

Top Tenerife anti-tourist crusader is revealed as a BRIT who admits he’s constantly branded a ‘hypocrite’

Popular vacation spots like Majorca, Tenerife and Ibiza have been hit by a slew of demonstrations against the rising number of tourists.

Demonstrators flocked to Majorcan beaches last month in yet another display of locals' discontent with holidaymakers and mass tourism.

In April, thousands of anti-tourist protesters took to the streets in Tenerife and demanded a freeze on holidaymakers.

The anti-tourist hordes filled a square in the capital brandishing banners including some that read “You enjoy we suffer” in English.

Protests also took place at the same time in other popular Canary Islands including Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
