Iraqi troops ‘liberate’ infamous Mosul tower block where ISIS thugs threw gay men to their deaths – as terror group digs in for bloody battle to re-take the city
ISIS butchers filmed the vile executions for propaganda
IRAQI troops have reportedly liberated one of the most infamous buildings in Mosul – a tower block where gay men were thrown to their deaths.
ISIS butchers gleefully filmed the gruesome executions of blind-folded victims who were pushed hundreds of feet to the ground from the National Insurance Company building.
Often their broken bodies were then pounded with stones by zealots as crowds were forced to watch and cheer by armed fighters.
The regime operates under strict Sharia law, which dictates that the punishment for the "crime" of homosexuality was to be thrown from a town’s tallest building.

According to local media, Iraqi forces have retaken a series of neighbourhoods in west Mosul, including the tower block, the provincial government headquarters and a museum where ISIS militants filmed themselves destroying priceless artefacts.
The dissident group Mosul Eye earlier said on Twitter: "ISF (Iraqi Security Forces) is only few meters away from National Insurance Company which ISIS turned into an execution site, throwing people off it."
Mosul Eye also uploaded photographs of executions and overlaid them with the multi-coloured gay pride flag in their memory.
The group has also revealed that the liberation of the west of Mosul - more than 1,000 days since ISIS took control - is coming at a heavy price with 9,000 civilians dead or injured.
And they accused ISIS butchers of carrying out Nazi-style atrocities in besieged Mosul.
They claimed that members of the terror group are murdering civilians.
Mosul Eye said: "What ISIS is doing to Mosulis is exactly what the Nazis did to the Jews.
"100 Holocausts are committed in Mosul! What ISIS is doing on the western bank of Mosul is the ultimate and absolute of all evils.
“They are dragging the war into people's homes, killing civilians on a massive scale, turning homes into bunkers and using civilians as human shields.
"Any civilian who tries to escape gets killed, as well as his family.
"They loot homes as they fight. Anything of value is looted then the houses they were entrenched in destroyed."
And the group pleaded with the West to drop aid into the city, adding: "We demand you drop emergency relief to the west bank of Mosul, or people will die of hunger."
Mosul Eye said desperate residents are drinking river water boiled over rubbish and scavenging for food in bins as the battle for the city rages.
And the weakened residents trapped behind ISIS frontlines are beginning to die of hunger and thirst.
The group said on its Twitter feed: "We reported about eight deaths because of dehydration and malnutrition.
“Many residents rely on the river to fulfil their need for water, and they boil it on trash as they use trash as fire fuel.
"Medical services are almost non-existent. There is a severe lack of medical supplies and medications for chronic diseases no longer exist."
