Spanish vice squad save teenager in Brit holiday hotspot from being pimped out after tip off sparks major probe
A SICKO plot to sell a teenage girl’s virginity to punters in Marbella has been foiled by Spanish police.
The gang peddled “high-class sex” services in the Costa Del Sol resort on various websites with the teen been pimped out to her first client for €5,000 (£4,300).
Spanish police launched a major investigation following what it termed a “collaboration with an anonymous citizen”.
Seven people have been arrested and charged with crimes connected to prostitution, sexual exploitation and corruption of minors.
The 16-year-old girl was rescued during the operation.
Cops also seized hard drives which could help uncover the masterminds of sex ring in Marbella and Estepona.
A police spokesman said: “After analyzing the documentation, the investigators found there was a perfectly organized criminal network behind the ads dedicated to the sexual exploitation of women, which made enormous profits from this activity.”
A twitter statement also featured footage of police raiding a Marbella property.
The operation was conducted as part of the Plan of the National Police against Trafficking of Human Beings for Sexual Exploitation.
Prostitution is decriminalized in Spain but like the UK pimping and brothels are banned.
