ADORABLE Bradley Lowery has been all smiles with his family despite facing the fight of his life.

In a Facebook post, the family wrote on Wednesday: "Bradley is doing ok and is excited to be mascot for the England game next week.

"Today he wanted to go to work with his daddy and help out so that is what he did. He had lots of fun although it did wear him out.

"Next round of treatment is scheduled to start on the 27th March. He will be going to hospital to get his bloods checked as a day patient but hopefully no overnight stays. Thank you for all of your support everyone".

Photos of Bradley showed him smiling as he held a measuring tape, with another sweet picture showing his high-vis vest was labelled "Daddy's Little Helper".

Bradley was invited to be an England mascot last month by the Football Association.

The youngster will step out on the pitch during the World Cup qualifier next month at Wembley Stadium.

He is already a mascot for his beloved team Sunderland and is no stranger to cheering crowds.

The family recently revealed that the young boy was undergoing his third round of pioneering cancer treatment, with the aim of the latest treatment to five him as long as possible with his loved ones.

Parents Gemma and Carl have earlier stated that they were determined not to give up on their little boy, who developed a growth on the bottom of his back at the start of this year.

The family has shared the little boy's fight against cancer since he suffered a devastating relapse last year.

In one of the most recent updates, the family shared the news of the new tumour developing, saying they had been left "devastated and heartbroken".

The heart-wrenching message said: "Why is life so cruel? Why do we have to get bad news time after time?

"Why does my baby not get a break?"
