Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister launches into unprovoked Twitter rant branding Prince Harry’s girlfriend a ‘hypocrite’
MEGHAN Markle's estranged half-sister lashed out calling her sibling a "hypocrite" in an unprovoked outburst sparked by a magazine article the Suits star wrote about periods.
Samantha Grant hit out at younger sibling Meghan, who has been dating Prince Harry for several months, after tennis champ Serena Williams praised an article the actor had written for Time magazine.
Grant - who claims to have raised Meghan for 12 years growing up in California - cruelly mocked Meghan's acting career, writing "you mean her 'job' on 90210" in another retort.
The angry rant came after Meghan penned an article for the US magazine called How Periods Affect Potential, highlighting period poverty across the world for International Women's Day.
The 52-year-old, who is in a wheelchair after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008, also responded to another Tweet claiming Meghan "ignores a sister in a wheelchair because it is an embarrassment to her".
But Grant's tirade continued: "But what did she donate to them to make real change come about? Money for toilets, maxi pads, or just a photo op?"
Former model Grant, who lives in Florida, has been making a habit of criticising Meghan since it emerged she had found love with Prince Harry.
She previously claimed her sister was a "shallow social climber" who had a "soft spot for gingers".
Grant claims the siblings have not been on speaking terms since 2008.
Grant and her brother Thomas Markle Jr are the elder children of Meghan's dad Thomas and his first wife Roslyn.
Thomas Sr went on to marry yoga teacher Doria Ragland, 60, and they had Meghan, but split up when she was just six.
Roslyn told the that Samantha had been dogging her half-sister for the last 20 years and added: "Everything she has said about her [Meghan] is a lie."
Grant now appears to be capitalising on her links to Prince Harry’s girlfriend, suggesting she may publish a book called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.
In another cruel and unprovoked comment, she responded to a Tweet saying Meghan could help Harry build on Princess Diana's legacy with "not possible".
It comes after privacy laws meant romantic snaps of Harry and Meghan cuddling on their Jamaican holidays were banned in the UK despite being published abroad.
But they were pictured together at Harry's best mate Tom "Skippy" Inskip's wedding in the Caribbean - fuelling rumours that they too could get engaged.
