THIS is the amazing moment a woman emerges from a terrifying mudslide in Peru before clambering over floating debris to escape.
Stunned locals watch liquid mud flowing underneath a road bridge can't believe their eyes as the woman suddenly appears out of piles of wooden planks caught in the deluge.
Evangelina Chamorro Diaz, covered from head to toe in mud, manages to pull herself to safety as cows and pigs float helplessly by.
The 32-year-old said she survived by grabbing on to tree branches and creating a makeshift bridge to clamber out of the sludge, reports .
According to a bull spotted struggling in the sludge was also rescued by dozens of neighbours, along with other animals.
Mudslides like this one in Punta Hermosa - about 30 miles from capital Lima - have been wreaking havoc across Peru.
