POWER Rangers star Ricardo Medina Jr has admitted stabbing and killing his roommate with a sword.
The American star - best known for appearing in three series of the popular kids' action show - denied murder but admitted manslaughter after Josh Sutter's death in 2015.

The 38-year-old actor is best known for starring as the red Power Ranger in three series of the franchise.
Medina played Cole Evans, the Red Wild Force Ranger, in Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002.
He later appeared as villain Deker in the series Power Rangers Samurai in 2011.
The kids' series launched in 1993 with the first incarnation Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, before being catapulted into popular culture.
Inspired by Japanese show Super Sentai, the show focuses on a team of superheroes fighting villains including monsters and robots.
Why did Medina kill Josh Sutter?
The actor has admitted stabbing his roommate to death with a sword after a row over his girlfriend parking outside their home.
Although he originally pleaded not guilty to murder, Medina admitted voluntary manslaughter on Thursday March 16, reported.
The actor and Sutter had been arguing about Medina’s girlfriend parking outside their Los Angeles home when the attack happened, according to cops.
Medina and his girlfriend went to his bedroom after the argument, but they were followed by Sutter.
The actor then stabbed him with a Conan the Barbarian-style sword in the abdomen, reports .
The ex-Power Ranger then called 911 and told cops he acted in self defence.
He was arrested but released with no charge.
Medina was then re-arrested in January 2016 and charged with murder, which he denied.
Prosecutors have since announced that Medina pleaded guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter and admitted using a sword in the killing.

Medina is best known for his roles in Power Rangers, but he has also appeared in several other shows.
