Who is Nicholas Nico AKA Sneako?

Nicolas "Nico" Kenn De Balinthazy was born on September 8, 1998, in New York.

He is a YouTuber and a social media star who goes by the name Sneako, and is best known for his gaming content.

Sneako also posts on X/Twitter, where he has a fanbase of over 882,000 followers, while on Instagram he has more than 4,000 fans (stats accurate as of October 2024).

The influencer is also known for his controversial comments, which have often landed him in hot water.

Why has Sneako been banned from Twitch?

On October 22, 2024, Sneako revealed he had been banned from Twitch over “extreme hateful conduct”.

The gamer took to X to share the email he received from the gaming platform's bosses.

The email shared an extensive list of reasons why Sneako had been banned, and they were: “Extreme hateful conduct.

"Focusing your conduct on promoting, encouraging, or facilitating the discrimination or denigration of others based on their protected characteristics.

“Examples of violative conduct include, but are not limited to Devoting a majority of your stream towards promoting racism or xenophobia."

It continued: “Going on a prolonged rant about how a specific group of people are a danger to society because of their religion. Participating in or organizing a hate group's malicious activities."

In response to being permanently banned, Sneako posted a video on Instagram, saying: “I don't even know what I got banned for.

“I just woke up, and saw the email (reading out the email) 'extreme hateful conduct'... here we go again!”

Going on he said: “I'm not gonna play stupid, I know they (Twitch) are getting pressure right now cause let's be real.

"People like Destiny, people like XQC, like Pokemon, these people are applying pressure because they are saying Twitch is allowing antisemitic people on the platform, all because we are vocal about what is going on in the Middle East. 

“That's what it is.”

In 2022, Sneako was banned from YouTube for "repeated community guideline violations".

It came about after he was accused of "spreading misinformation about Covid and the 2020 US elections".

After he was canceled from the platform, he live-streamed and posted content on the alt-tech social media platform Rumble.

On October 20, 2024, Sneako was reinstated on YouTube, only to be banned two days later.

In March 2024 he revealed he'd been banned on Instagram, posting "Everything happens for a reason".
