Family’s fears as 17-year-old Lillie Jones goes missing a day after her face was slashed in a knife attack
The teenager's sister says Lillie was pinned down and her face sliced by three girls in a terrifying attack
A TEENAGE girl has vanished hours after her face was slashed open in a terrifying knife attack by a gang of girls, her sister claims.
Lillie Jones, 17, was last seen by her distraught parents at about 6pm on Wednesday when she left home and has not been in contact since.
Her sister Jazmin Jones, 23, says Lillie was pinned down and slashed in the face four times by three girls the night before.
Her family say she disappeared with friend Morgan Pybis, 16, just hours after revealing her injuries, after initially trying to hide them.
The pair have not been seen or contacted relatives for almost five days, sparking a police search to find them.
Merseyside Police said the girls are believed to be together and said officers are making "extensive efforts" to locate them.
Jazmin said Lillie walked to a shop near the family home on Tarbock Road, Huyton, Merseyside, at 9.10pm on Tuesday and said she was followed by three girls.
She said: "The girls didn't buy anything in the shop and instead they were quite threatening and intimidating to Lillie and her friend.
"They left the shop and then Lillie was pinned down by a girl who cut her face with a knife.
"She had four slashes across her face, on her mouth and near her eyes.
"She came home but tried to hide her cuts, and then she came to me while I was at work and told me what happened.

"She was minding my home while the plumber was in on Wednesday, and then went home and left my mum and dad a letter and was last seen at 6pm that day by my mum.
"It is quite out of character – no one had any suspicions Lillie planned to do this.
"We think that she has run away because people have been threatening her and she can't do anything about it."
Jazmin said Lillie did not need medical treatment after the attack and was checked over at home by her mum, who is a nurse.
Morgan's mum Victoria Pybis, 36, said: "Morgan and Lillie are inseparable.
"I told her that it was the last night that she was staying over at Lillie's and then she would have to be back with me.
"Then on Wednesday, I got the knock from Lillie's dad to say that they had gone.
"It's worrying because Morgan is so laid back and she has never done anything like this before.
"We are all really concerned for them but we want them to know that we need them home and that they are not in trouble."
Lillie, from Tarbock Green, Huyton, Merseyside, is described as white, medium build and with long black hair and was last seen wearing a beige jumper and brown boots.
Morgan, from Old Swan, Merseyside, is described as white and of large build with shoulder length blonde to light brown hair.
A Merseyside Police spokesman appealed for help to find the pair.
The spokesman said: "Lillie was reportedly last seen at about 6.30pm on Wednesday and extensive enquiries have been ongoing to locate both teenagers since they were reported missing.
"Lillie and Morgan are believed to be together. Police officers are making extensive efforts to find the girls and return them home safely and would urge them, anyone who knows their whereabouts or anyone who has seen people resembling them to call police on 101."
